In the beginning of 1997 we've got our first dog. Trixi a Pinscher/Schnauzer lady. Whereby we must say in truth Trixi was the one who decided to come with us. We’ve got Trixi from an animal shelter in Augsburg. Since that day she makes us a lot of joy. She is the boss of all of our dogs.
It takes not for a long time, there came up the whish for the second dog as a play companion. Thus we came then in 2001 to Kimba. Also we got her from an animal shelter in Augsburg. It is today our calm Malinois (mix) lady. The way to this peace was however connected with many holes in the garden.
So it should remain for several years. In the course of the years we imagined then all that at a place, at which two dogs have place to live also the third dog can find his place. Thus the family decided that it now should be a Border Collie. With this plan the calculation of time completely began from zero. All people whom we asked, Border Collies they all did not want to buy. Yes, we were even warned. Here it should be said that we did not regret it for one second to have bought a Border Collie and also want to say to everyone who have fun in handling dogs: Border Collies are extremely intelligent and friendly dogs, which makes so much fun if you give him work and spend enough time with them.
After the decision for a Border Collie was made we started with the search. Without thinking about too much we started calling the breeders which we found over the newspaper and in the Internet. And we had luck, real luck, as we also know today. We found in April of 2006 Romeo (Keep Smiling of Cleverland) and decided us very fast, because it was the last boy of this litter which was not promised to someone else.
Here we would like to say thank you to our breeder Stephanie Klug (of Cleverland)! She helped us very much and finally she was the one who animated us to show Romeo on a show.
From this moment everything starts running and nobody could stop it anymore.
Today, we have a little pack living with us in our house, which gives us much joy every day. The kennel name then was requested from FCI and since then the Name was "von den Traumpfoten" (of the dreampaws). Of course, for us cynological training and in the same way dogs education is part of our Hobby but also the daily fun with the dogs.
Continued ..... Who knows what else everything comes :-)
